Large Naval Funeral

I am still trying to find details about a large naval funeral, we think from the dress and old cars depicted that it was during the 1920s or close to that. We think now that it could be abroad, maybe America or Canada, somewhere that we would have had a big naval presence. There are at least two gun carriages with flags, hats and swords on them, also a marine band.
Please can you help? Any suggestions anywhere in the world would help us to track it down.

To be honest, a scant description is not enough information, especially if you are including a large section of the globe as a possible location.
