We manufacture and fit fly screens and a lady phoned today asking if we would like to advertise on yell.com it costs £300. Does anyone still use yell and is it a good idea?

I don't use it any more. you need to make sure your company pops up near the top of a Google search, if someone entered "fly screens".

not sure how that works but I believe there are tips and tricks for doing that.

You should first do a survey of all previous clients to see which of them did or would use yell.com, whatever you do, DO NOT use the by one it;'s sh1te

I aggree with Sara,

if you've not already got one spend that money on a small website and then concentrate on getting your company as high as possible on a google search, this part can be done for free and is likely to have a much higher return than yell.com.
