These are the pics I promised, we named her Caoimhe Pronounced (Keeva) after receiving many great suggestions from Abers. We eventually chose the name that was suggested by Looobylooo, many thanks loobylooo.

Caoimhe has settled in really well, we brought her back from Scotland to Devon on Sunday after spending a nice couple of days with Caoimhe's breeder. She is currently terrorising my other two wolfhounds who appear to be terrified of her, bless them both, they only weigh 10 stone each compared to her 7.8kgs at 8 weeks of age lol

Again thanks to all who helped to name this very special little pup :-)

Mazie, we went to Falkirk to a renowned Irish Wolfhound breeder, this will be our foundation bitch for our future breeding programme.

Out of interest, jk rowling had Caoimhe's brother from a previous litter, she named him, Harry Potter!
I remember that Ratter. I was on JK's site and saw the puppy she bought...I believe she gave the breeder something like £1000 over the asking price as an incentive for her breeding programme. Anyway she's bl00dy lovely..the puppy, not JK

Hi everyone. I am Ian's other half. Our little Caoimhe is from Fran & Bill Barnbrook from the Bribiba Irish Wolfhound Kennels. Fran & Bill have 8 adult Irish Wolfhounds who all live in the house with them and they presently have (or had) 18 puppies from two litters. Their hounds have wonderful, gentle temperaments, are beautifully built and very successful in the show ring. So, we are very fortunate to have such a lovely baby.
Great Dogs Ratters. I've never seen a pale wolfhound before, I think that's what confused me with the Great Dane, that and my terrible eyesight!
Sorry Mick - thought you were claiming paternity!
Hi Cara, You certainly are, she's lovely x
I can tell who' the boss,& it aint you Ratter!!!!!!

Mazie there aren't a lot of the wheaten coloured wolfies around at the moment but they are increasing in popularity, Caoimhe will turn out to be a very silvery colour as she matures, this colour is even more unusual.
