Does anybody know what the music is in the trailer? I cant seem to find any answers anywhere. I think it sounds quite electric/trance.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi redman,

I dont think thats the trailer jellybeaness means....no electro/trance there.......just begins with the simply brilliant "Also sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss, also known for being the intro in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Then it goes off into some gothical operatic film type music from something like Braveheart, Gladiator or Kingdom Of Heaven.....no idea what the music is there.

Maybe i'll see the trailer later hopefully, but tv is off at the moment in my study, and gotta be before we the Arsenal take on Barcelona tonight.........C'mon you gooners!

Unfortunately it seems that they still have the woman with the Medusian voice - i.e. one sound of it and you are as dead as limestone.

The piece was played in the beginning of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The movie was directed by Stanley Kubrick in 1968.
It was nominated for four Academy Awards, and received one for visual effects.
