Female dog wii on grass
I know that female dog wii on grass will cause burnt patches but how do I stop it? I have read about tomato juice in her diet, watering where she goes and putting lime on it (all on US websites) but has anyone got any other better, and easier, ideas? I don't see any patches forming in the field where a lot of us walk our dogs so why in my garden?
Many thanks

Very true about Tomato juice, didnt work for me though, and I was wary of the amount of salt in it. There are also dog rocks, again work for some and not others.

With one dog best option is to pour a whole bucket of water over the place she has weed as soon as she has done it to dilute the urine.

It's the acid in the urine that kills the grass and it doesn't make much difference if it's a dog or bitch. I have 2 dogs and a very patchy lawn.
I tried the dog rocks but according to what I read they only work if they stay in the water for long enough for the minerals to be dissolved. Which would mean topping up the water bowl everytime they had a drink so as never to put too much fresh water in at once. Sounded very unhygenic to me and not very practical.
