Aquarium Lightng
Evening ABers
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated as usual! I intend to install some dawn / dusk lighting in my aquarium, would a 20watt 9" tube be enough to give a visible effect or should I simply go for a full length tube of similar low-ish wattage? Just thinking about the practicalities of installation.
Cheers All!

I have a 44'' blue tube in my brackish tank [55usg] just to give it a bit of 'mood lighting' in the evening and that's pretty bright [I should run a day tube in there as well but haven't got round to putting it in yet.
You could probs get away with a 36'' but anything else would look pretty dull IMO . Do you have a decent LFS near you....that way you can but the starters and they should always change to bulbs over if you're not happy with them...because they aren't cheap!
