While the SPCA won't be able to help you directly, they might know of a charitable organisation in your area (or just a generous vet!) who might be able to help you. Phone them on 03000 999 999.

Similarly, while your problem is outside the scope of the Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society, somewhere there might know who can help you. Phone 01764...

ok doky thank you xx
Maybe you should consider if it is in the best interest of your 'pet' that you are not in a position to adequetly care for it when it is sick. Perhaps you shouldn't keep animals until you are financially able to do so.

sorry but that is completly out of the question would u tell a mum to get rid of her baby cause thats they way i feel about my dogs not normally not got money just over spent this month x
Then if you're overspent you need to cut back on things and a pet should be the first thing to go.

Missy's trying to sort it out - let's see how she gets on at the vet today before we have a go at her.....

wolfy, I was at a conference yesterday, section on asthma - the illustration was of a cat with an inhaler, I thought of you immediately!
Out of order amy. missy asked for help not a lecture. She's sorting it.

Thank you there are worse people who have animals that abuse them i would never want to harm my boys x
How did you get on missy?
Boxy read missy's 10.12 post.
Whoops, thanks ladybirder - I thought it was today she was going to the vet...
in a way i sort of agree. When you get a pet, you must factor in what it costs to feed them every month. I also think people should factor in what it costs to insure them per month too
I reckon one cat - including insurance, jabs, food - costs at least £600 a year (and that's if you got the cat itself for nothing).
take all your proof of income/benefits to the PDSA and they will sort you out! xx
Cath. missy's in Scotland - she's come to an arrangement with her vet, she says.
