Well, what can I say? I tried Starbuckone's tip & used a blanket - it's shredded, I'm shredded & my flatmate is shredded. The beast has gone on hunger strike & will only eat anything that can't possibly have medicine hidden in it. I found out the hard way that the tablets are penecillin based as I'm allergice to the stuff. Only a minor rash & a bit of tingling on my part. Nothing serious. I think I'm going to have to try large doses of nip to bliss him out.

Please keep us posted on your cat's saga - I came onto AB feeling a bit down tonight, and your threads have really given me a good laugh! - but of course I hope that the abcess gets better very quickly! A friend of mine used to work for a vet, and was able to "wrap" a cat (in a thick towel) in about 5 seconds flat - a very useful talent.
