Cat Sleeping in Her Litter Tray!!

Just started using the catsan litter that has an integral liner and the litter ontop of it - trouble is - Lucy the 10year old moggy is using it as a bed as well as a loo!!! Is she losing her marbles??

If it's clean when she goes to bed, no, looks like she's looking for a place to sleep. Has she got a cat bed?

Always very clean cos I keep it that way and she does have a special place to sleep.

Is she hinting her bedding wants washing.(joke) Cats are usually clean, is she using the litter tray as well as for her bed. Mine used to find odd places to sleep now and again. Once it was on the floor by the toilet, had to shift him every time.

I have one who loves to sleep in the kitchen sink, no make that any sink!
It is not unknown for him to turn on the tap as well (they're the flip up type)

I wish my No. 1 Son would sleep in his litter tray, not on my head as he did last night - came in soaking wet, tried to get into bed, bit me (nicely) when I resisted, then parked on my head.

it's a warm, comforting place with familiar smells - she's a cat, why wouldn't she want to sleep there! - says how well you keep her palace.
