We can't believe it - the Rover's Returned.....

I had a phone call at work from the vet to say Rover had been living in someone's garden for the last 3 days - goodness knows where he's been the other seven months!

He's lost weight and is skinny and a bit greyer, but otherwise - considering his kidney problem - seems in remarkably good nick.

We're waiting to see the reaction of the other catz!

Thank you all so much, dear people..... we have to go back to the vet on Wednesday, to try to assess if his tramp lifestyle has caused any deterioration - but paws crossed, I'll keep you all informed.

Once again - AB is a wonderful place in times like this!
Excellent news you now have your first christmas present

some cream at supper to let him know what he has missed :)
Fantastic news, I'm so so pleased for you :) xxx
Ah that's brilliant Boxy - I was just thinking about him yesterday when I read a story in the paper about a cat turning up after so many months. :) x
No way! I actually said outloud 'is that boxy's cat?!'... Well chuffed for you mate! :c)
What a great relief for you - bet he can't understand what all the fuss is about! We had an old cat when I was a kid, and after about 18 years he moved in with a new neighbour who we found out was feeding him chicken! Sadly she brought him back when he started becoming disorientated and losing the plot and I had to take him to the vet to be put down, after missing him for months.
Brilliant!
Another welcome guest for Christmas.

Great to hear some good news
Great news! You must be delighted.
Oh boxy I'm really pleased to hear that. Have kept him in mind since he first went and often wondered if he would return so how WONDERFUL to hear that he is home with you where he belongs. Great news and cheers us up in this not so good times (and weather!). xx

Wow boxtops, this just made my day. Purrrrfect timing too, this close to christmas. I can't believe its been 7 months! Hope that Rover's next trip to the vet is much less eventful. ;)
That's great news, boxtops, I've been checking the site regularly to see if there was any news. Suggest you don't butter his paws - glue them instead!
