Sad House Again

Hi, its a very sad day in my house again today. My 11 year old rescue greyhound was very suddenly taken very poorly. We have had to say good bye to Johnny, a very sad and emotional time. He is at rest now with Woody and Topsy. Sleep peacefully Johnny, you are missed so much.......

Bet you have some lovely memories. As you say he is at rest and did not suffer for a long time like some do.

I know how you feel and lt's horrible. Just know that you are not alone, all us pet lovers have to go through it from time to time, but it would NEVER put me off wanting to give an animal a much needed home. Very, very sorry about Johnny xxx

Again, thank you for all the lovely words. It was not nice getting up Sunday morning and going down stairs and not have Johnny there. I can't understand how and why he became so poorly so very quick. I did manage to get him to the vets but he then laid down and couldn't get up again. It was very distressing,but the vet was excellent and very caring and so gentle with Johnny.I know I did the right thing for him.

Its very sad when a loved dog passes, we had to get our black lab Bracken put to rest almost three years ago now and i still miss him, i hope you have nice memories of your pal which will be with you for a long time. Johnny will be with you for a long time in your thoughts i hope, i hope the whole left in your heart fills with pleasure of Johnny. My thoughts are with you good luck.

Hi all, again thank you for your kind replies. I have, today, received a lovely condolence card from the vet who I saw with Johnny on Saturday. It was a very nice thing for her to do, it means so much that people really do care.
