Well finally done it.

My two old boys Puss and Boots both died, Puss 4 years ago and Boots 15 months ago. I always wanted another cat but couldn't make my mind up because I was so devastated when I lost them and didn't feel I could go through it again. Anyway yesterday Nero and Cleo entered my life. Nero is 10 yo and Cleo is 12 months old, they were rescued after wandering the streets thin, hungry and very bedraggled. Thanks to Blackpool Cats In Care they are now fit and well. Nero is a friendly boy, he has settled down in just 1 day, Cleo is still hiding under the bed, she came out for some food then dashed straight back.

I can't imagine life without a cat these days, my only times without at least one have always felt as if there is something missing. I've never forgotten previous cats, but every one brings you something new. Well done to you both for taking in rescue moggies - I am sure they will have a lovely time with you. Don't worry about the little 'un, she'll soon come round!
wol63, they need to stay in for at least 2 weeks, Nero is obviously very streetwise he sits at the patio doors making noises at the birds, but he doesn't know the area, we have an enclosed garden but cats can jump fences. Cleo has emerged and now behind the sofa. It's such a shame, Nicola at the rescue centre says they have never had so many cats.
Cleo, she just snuck out and thought she may do a bit of painting.
