Update On My Cat
Hi there just to let you know that she hasnt broken it thank God she has a torn ligament I honestly have no idea how I went out this morning and she was fine and I came back 2 hours later and she was limping. She has got a bandage on her paw and looking very sorry for herself but getting lots of cuddles. Aparently kittens can get themselves into a whole lot of scrapes without blinking an eye.

Kittens are made to look so cute so that we forget that they are evil little house-wreckers. I hope it isn't too long before she is back to normal.

too true!! pleased your cat is ok...when mine was a kitten, she came in limping
after jumping down from the fence..vet said she had sprained her back leg!!
another time, she had scuffed claws..vet asked had she been dragged by
a car..no I said..surely her pads would have been damaged?
found out by watching her....she had sat on the bin outside, and run up the
corner of the house paws both sides of the corner, then slid down!
told the vet, really, thats unusual he said, sometimes it's inside they do that..
yes, she started like that, now does it outside after watching the squirrels
climbing the walls!!!

gordie - how is your little girl doing today? It wasn't until I read one of your other posts that I realised that she really is just a baby. At 12 weeks she will be investigating everything and getting into all sorts of trouble.
I hope that she keeps out of trouble until her current injuries heal. I am being glared at by an evil tom cat as I type - his sister is on the back of my computer chair breathing down my neck. They are loveable and frustrating creatures.

ex - you are right, but they could be replaced by a big dog.
gordie - cats have mastered the art of getting your attention. I was shocked when my first cat woke me up at silly o'clock in the morning during our first days together. Frankie and Merlin are no different - Frankie thinks that he will starve if not fed hourly.
My two (siblings) are indoor cats and are either sleeping, playing, eating or beating the crap of each other. :-)

Wash your mouth out boy - Merlin is a girl cat. She is long haired and has been diagnosed by the vet as "a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic" she is also vicious.
