she has all of a sudden just stopped eating her dinner, but eats her bonio, she has her bottom fangs comming thru, would this have any thing to do with her not eating, she is ok and lively enough and wants walks etc. and she is not being sick and her poo is fine. any suggestions ? i dont want to change her food and i always soften it with water.

Probably because she is still teething. I would cut her to two meals a day now so she is more ready for it and gradually reduce the moisture in it. Give her things to chew on, not only bones or chew but even a flannel put in the freezer for a while will relieve any discomfort if she chews on it.

maybe she doesn't want it mushy any more? try offering it to her dry.

Thanks, I have tried that as well but still no good, she has never ever not eaten before, she loves her food.
How many times a day do you feed her? does she eat her other meals?
Question Author
3 times a day, breakfast, din, teatime i was going to stop a meal when she got to 6 months, but she is always starving after her morning run but this morning just turned her nose up at it !! i just wondered if her teeth were hurting at the front thats why not picking it up,
so how many meals has she not eaten and what do you feed her on? When did she eat the bonio?
Question Author
she has now missed 2 meals one this morning and one dinner time, she has skinners puppy food dry food, but as i said she has it soffend, she has bonio after her dinner but i gave it to her when she didnt eat her dinner, she aways has one after dinner.
If you have any worries take her to the vets it probably nothing but better safe then sorry.
Question Author
yes i will, i just wondered if any one elses puppy stopped eating if it was teething. thanks
Mine have tended to want something hard rather than soft stuff but not refused food altogether. Pups can get misgrowing tooth problems like children so maybe a trip to the vet to be sure she is okay.

Yes i will take her tommorow i think thanks for your help anyway.
have you checked she hasn't got something stuck across the roof of her mouth?

Thanks for that, i have an app with vet today, shes still the same, i am going to cut her down now to 2 meals a day, and she already has a flannel in the freezer which she loves to chew on. many thanks
When you say she is still the same, do you mean not eating? A week seems a long while to wait to have her seen by a vet at that age.

We had 2 labs 1 loved his food the other hated any type of dog food - so ended up eating veggies pasta and meat for his entire life - he started getting fussy from 6 months old.

Could be you just have a fussy lab!
