Male Guppy About A Year Old............has Been Fine But Now His Back And Tail

is bent downwards and he has fungus on his top fin. Have taken him out but is there anything I can do if if another one gets it.?

You get a treatment from the aquarium shop where you get the fish. You put it in the water and it treats fungus. You need to read up on keeping fish.
hi lilac-i use 'tonic salts' in the tank on a regular basis-about once a month

keeps fish healthy
The tail bent downwards happens very often in older males with big tails. The fungus can be treated as above.
A bent spine can also indicate an internal parasite but is unlikely unless you have added any new stock or plants. This a good treatment for any fungal infections

Also, a 50 % water change every day for three days to make sure your water is really clean [don't clean the filter though]

divegirl, you have hit the nail on the head. I have put in a live plant and new fish. None of the others look affected.
