Found Dead Cat :-(

..in the middle of the road near me.
V sad, he was still warm, just delivered him to the RSPCA hospital, I hope the owner/s find him somehow. He wasn't 'chipped'.

It is at the vet's ...in a fridge awaiting collection :-(

Looks like I've managed to track down the owner - or at least the owner's neighbours. They are an elderly couple and have identified the cat as "Marvin".
I left their doorstep about an hour ago with them preparing to leave to go and identify him at the RSPCA :-(

You are so kind. I had the same thing happen to me and the owners immediately thought I had run over their cat. I couldn't pass by and not speak to them. Turned out it was a stray that regularly crossed a busy main road to visit them. My main worry about my cat is if she just went missing. She's chipped by the way. Hope if anything happens to her I meet someone as nice as you.
