Older Dog Wont Settle

My shihtzu is just turned 13yrs ..She has a heart condition. She sleeps upstairs as she doesn't like being on her own at night.She's fine in the day.
Just lately she won't settle and I am lucky if I get three or four hours broken sleep a night.She went for a check up yesterday and all is OK for her conditions. I just need some sleep. There is just her and me.
Any ideas please. I can't have her barking at night

it sounds like dementia to me. There are meds that might help (Activait, Vivitonin) did you mention the restlessness to the vet?

I didnt mention it because I thought it was just where it was a bit stuffy at night.She had a funny turn today and slipped off the sofa but the vet knows about these turns but they only last seconds and they put it down to her heart condition. I was only making a coffee when she had this mishap today.
I think she still has a quality of life but I am shattered and would like just one nights sleep. It's not her fault and I love her to bits. Just need some sleep
