Weimaraner Season

I have a 14 month old Weimeraner who has yet to come in season. How normal is that?
A friend who purchased a Labrador at the same time says her bitch has been in season twice at the same age.

Our wei bitch didn't have her first season until she was about 2, they are a very late maturing breed.

Normal range for a Weim is 8 months - 2 years I believe. But their first seasons can pass by unnoticed, especially if you dont have a male in the house, and she could have had a silent season and you have missed it.
