thank you for your concern with my dog. he was given a steroid injection and antibiotics. The bleeding has stopped and the smell has disapeared from his eyes. I was asked to monitor how much he drinks per day (approx 450mls). yesterday and today he has been very lethargic. we have an apt tommorow teatime with the vet. He has lost almost another pound and appetite is poor! I will update yous as soon as i possibly can x

Only just seen this ilmb. Thank you so much for posting an update for us. I echo Prudie's comment that hopefully the vet has given you a view on the best way forward. Please let us know how you get on tomorrow afternoon. I do hope you have some better news by this time tomorrow. Big hugs to you, have been there myself and it's so hard. They break our hearts they do. x
oscar seen by vet today. bloods have been taken (lovely big bald patch on front of his neck) results monday or tuesday. Oscars been given a steroid injection to help clear up dermatitis that he has on his do da's. The steroid might also increase his appetite. If bloods come normal the vet is going to put oscar on heart medication for 2 weeks to see if it helps improve his appetite -thus gain weight xx Heart murmur was picked up on our last visit but not a serious one x
