HI all

My cat is extremely fussy when it comes to food, I have tried all the top brands on the market, but she is still turning her head to most of it.

Does anyone have any advise on what to give her, she is three years old, and quite small.

Many thanks

Maybe the top brands are too rich for her(?). Have you tried dry biscuits with some tuna (or other fish) mixed in?
My cat was fed regullaly on Whiskas pouches in jelly, then one day he stopped eating it, (he is 14 years), so we took him to the vet had loads of tests done and they could find nothing wrong, "tempt him" they said ,so I bought him some Sheba , and he ate that ,loved it even licked his bowl clean. When we went on holiday I went to great lengths so that the Cattery would also feed him Sheba. When we came home the person at the cattery said he had turned his nose up at the Sheba so they had given him Felix, which he had loved.Back at home, as we had gone out shopping before bringing him home he again was give Sheba.Little monkey, I think sometimes a change is all they need, cats are very independent and only eat what they want, try something completely different. My cat will not eat human food, maybe yours will , a bit of chicken or tuna, best of luck.
My Mum's cat loves prawns, goes mad for them!

Have you had any medical issues ruled out by a vet? Could be a problem with her teeth?

I used to get uptight at all the food that wasn't eaten. The half used boxes of food and cats who told me that they were starving.

Now, as a rule, I stick to Felix as good as it gets and if any particular flavour becomes 'poisonous' it gets put in a box and tried again at a later date. If it is still rejected I give it away to Cat's Protection.

I am trying to change them onto dried food - and have had limited success.

Neither would I PP but I'd still double check if the cat was mine.

I honestly think ive got the worlds greediest cat. If something doesn't move quick enough, she'll eat it. Yes I know most cats are notoriously fussy, however someone failed to mention that nugget of information to my spawn of Satan.
I rotate brands/flavours. They are happy with whiskas...at the moment. And also gobble up James wellbeloved dry...so at least it's not wasted. Go-cat is rejected as are many others...including Dreamies. They also reacted with disdain to mini chicken fillet strips and cheesy chicken strips from Wilkinson's. The dog loves 'em...perfect little nibbles for her. Meanwhile old Caspar seems to like salami,a bit of olives, feta cheese and who knows what other human delicacies. ;-)
