Well, it seems that Smokey has a girlfriend. She's the cat next door. He goes dashing out in the morning to see her and even let's her play with his catnip mousie.

It's sweet when they make friends. My old cat had a bit of a bromance going on with the cat next door. They'd great each other with what looked like a kiss.

Did Smokey give her the catnip mouse or did she take it? I have a girl cat who feels obliged to beat her brother up at least once a day. She steals his toys too.

Does she have a name? It is good that he has settled in and made a friend.

Wolf, she found it but didn't take it off him. Once she'd done with it she nudged it back over to him. Her name's Kitty and she's a feisty little thing so I'm not sure if he's a gentleman or a bit chicken.
They do a nose rub when they meet. It's very cute.

I think that it is sweet when cats have friends - ones that they have picked themselves and they go out to play together.

My two warring siblings are having a truce after a massive bust up on Monday. Frankie kissed his sister and she didn't punch him.

Well, Wolf, much as I'd like to think yours have made up, it's probably more likely that she's just biding her time.

Messalina, I think that they are too set in their ways. Princess Merlin is fearless and has bitten a few visitors and she made a serious attempt to kill the lady vet.

Good job Smokey lost his gonads. I could just imagine his girl friend's mum turning up at your door with a very pregnant lady cat.

Isn't it funny how they take to some other felines, but make immediate sworn enemies with others?

True, Hopkirk but this is the first friend he's made. And this morning I discovered he's made another one. Don't know her name but she's an older tabby. He greeted her with a head bump.
