I can see a dog, it's a terrier I'd have thought but no idea which it is.

My guess is that it's not a 'breed' as such but a terrier-based mongrel (with perhaps some Norwich Terrier in there).

Google 'Teckel' Pip and look at some more photos.
A Teckel is a type of long haired Dachsund used as a deer tracking dog and other hunting purposes, common on the continent but rare in the UK.

Thanks Buenchico for your helpful advice. The photo is a caption competition and I thought if I knew the breed it may help with a pun. From your answers it's a Terrier or Dachshund or Teckel or crossbreed. I'll work from there. Thanks for all your contributions.
