The mog managed to graze his chin the other week it's healing nicely apart from one bit that he keeps scratching and making it bleed. It's not infected but I think it's a bit itchy. Any ideas for something I can do to stop it itching so it heals properly?

One of those cones that dogs wear (unsure about cats).
Plus get some cream from the vets. (Not clotted.)
My mom used to use Vaseline on scratches and grazes on her cat's, it seemed to work.
I would ask the vet if they can recommend something to moisten it. It's probably itching because the wound is drying up due to the healing process.

Thank you all for the advice. I think I'll try a dab of Vaseline to start with.
I'd go for the cone of shame

Not going for cone of shame. Last time he had to wear one he shredded my hand, my flatmate's hand, 2 cushions and the doormat. Not doing that again.
