Can anybody tell me if it is ok to house guinea pigs & rabbits together? We have a young female guinea pig & are thinking of getting her a young rabbit for company.

not a definitive answer im afraid.... alot of people do do this, but when we tried, the rabbit kept trying to (ahem) mount the guinea pig and distressed him quite alot so we had to house them separately in the end.
Hi, on the whole no! They generally do not get on, of course there is always the acception to the rule, but a rabbit will normally bully a guinea pig. I tried it and ended up having to buy an extra cage....there are also dietry needs to consider [will try to find a link].

I kept a huge number of rabbits and guinea pigs at one point, and as a general rule they are fine in the same run together during the day, but are better off sleeping in seperate hutches, as that is when most fighting etc will occur. Two guinea pigs are much more compatiable if you've not got the space for two hutches.
