Aftercare for Cat

Kitten just back from vets (neutered). How long will it take for him to get back to normal? Any special aftercare needed?

thanks for answers. Divegirl, I didnt get any care sheet from vets. He's seeming a lot better now. Just sleeping and looking v. sad!

lol....can't blame him. I had my kitten spayed two weeks ago....she spent 2 days on her back on a beanbag being hand fed poached cod!!!!! That's why I asked about the care sheet, I got an excellent one from my vet, oh well I suppose they're all different. I've got a male kitten coming next week...so wish me luck!!!

I had my two 'done' recently and there were no after effects at all after I'd picked them up from the vets. The female didn't want to play-fight much that evening but the male was on his usual form.
