pregnant yorkie?

I think my Yorkie may be pregnant.. I noticed that she was in heat on Jan 15th... But I wouldnt have noticed had I not have been grooming her and noticed that her vulva was swollen because she kept herself CLEAN... Now her boobies are very swollen... And I over reacting?
By the way... I have a male yorkie in the house....

It would be far too soon to notice if she was pregnant - she is probably still in season, as the 15th January was only less than three weeks ago, and they are in season for approximately three weeks.

Unless you want unplanned puppies you should take her to your vet who can advice on injections to prevent pregnancy, or have your dog castrated. How old is she, and are they related?

would be far too early to tell yet. If you are worried take her to the vet to have her scanned, as you need to know!!

A scan would not show anything until about 28 days at least. However a vet would be able to confirm whether she was still in season.

I'm a dog walker and one of my lady charges has just been in season. her nipples are very pronounced so I think thats prob the case wth your Yorkie - if you dont want babies PLEASE GET HER SPAYED !!
