stupid dogs

I know that dogs (and cats) are intelligent animals compared to other animals (but not all other animals).

However is it fair to say that the Labrador is the most stupid or spaced out breed? Or do they just have an innocent love of life and are eternal puppies?

most of them have a love of life, but so do a lot of other breeds. In fact, I am fast going off labradors, as I have met a few viscious ones lately, one came running at me over the park last week growling like mad, my girls were on their leads and nearly crawled up their own bottoms!!!!

I love labs and I think they are usually very silly,soppy,greedy,and gentle family dogs.
They must be intelligent though as they make good Guide Dogs,and have to be very trainable.
My last lab would have killed a blind person if there had been a biscuit on the pavement across the road.!!!lol

I understand that chocolate labs have the most insurance claims of any breed.

(Although of course it could be that they are not very good drivers LOL.)

my last dog was a Lab/GSD and he got the worst bits of each breed. An overprotective stupid hound.

They are lovely dogs - perfect family dogs, but you hear some hilarious stories from Lab owners.
