depends if it is male or female. my vet charges about �70 for a female and �30 for a male.

You are a good responsible pet owner! I've had many males and females fixed over the years of cat rescue and males seem to be fine as soon as you bring them home. May hide under the bed or sofa for a bit, but then again maybe not.
