My poorly goldfish!!!
I have two lovely goldfish (not your standard ones, but the little chubby ones, cant remember the proper name for them)!
I have only had them a week and I noticed this morning that one of them has a sort of burst blister type thing on his head and the other one has started to develop a slight marking aswell.
I have cleaned them out and feed them twice a day, Ive got these plastic flowery plants in the bowl that are a bit spikey, might take them out.
Can anyone enlighten me on what these blister type things are, please help me save my little fishys!!! thanks !

If what you're seeing doesn't look like anything on that page, maybe someone on a fishy forum might be able to tell you more?

Hi there, I have been looking after fish for a wee while now, when I first started there was some things I missed out and it did cause some dead fish.
Firstly, never change all the water, the fish will build up and get used to their own type of bacteria that they make in the tank. When changing water you should only change about 3/4s at most.
You should also use a type of water conditioner to get rid of any chlorine in the tank, as this can cause fish diseases.
You havnt mentioned if you are using a filter or anything, if you are this should be left running for 24 hours before adding any fish. The more fish in the tank the higher the amonia levels in the tank. (amonia is bad) Orandas and moors (the chubby goldfishfish) are not as hardy as your standard goldfish and are very sensitive to these things, and to be frank will die quickly, I experienced this when I added 4 fish at once.

Thanks everyone for your answers, I should have mentioned that they are just in a normal fish bowl, no filters, and ive got two (ive not even named them yet)!!
I think i know where my problem is, when i change the water, im putting all clean water in and giving the bowl a good clean, Im not leaving the old water, but i am adding drops called Tap Safe to get rid of any bacteria in the tap water, ive just got pellet food, found the flakes makes the water cloudy quickly.
Abbibygum, what was your last sentence going to be - im curious now !!
