breeding
i want to breed my cavalier king charles, she is gorgeous and 3 1/2 years old, so i think ready to have a litter, but, i was silly enough to buy her without papers, (the owner said she'd forward them on when she found hem) is there any other way of proving she is 'real' so to speak, is there anywhere i can get papers from or take her to to get new papers? any help would be grateful

Unless she is registered you will have difficulty in finding a reputable stud dog owner to let her be mated to. How will you know what her pedigree is if you have no papers? If you find someone with a dog who will let her be mated how would you know whether or not she was related to the dog?
You will also not be able to prove whether she is from parents that are heart tested and no-one in their right mind would breed Cavaliers without having them heart tested, as they suffer from Mitral Valve Disease, which is the greatest cause of deaths in Cavaliers often by the age of 18 months.
Please think seriously before considering mating her.

firstly ask your self why do i want to mate my bitch,it is not benificial to her health to have a litter, and can be complicated and hard work even if things go ok,dont do it for the money as can always backfire, then think of trying to find homes to unregistered puppies, sorry but there are enough unwanted dogs in our kennels.....
