I bought one of the puppies and he's a gorgeous rich red colour and so loving! We now breed English bull terriers. Not everyone's favourite breed but for us they're a wonderful part of our family. We have 3 generations of granma, mum and son and that's lovely to see!
Hi pixiepie. I have a little boy Shih Tzu called turbo. He is a very funny little thing. I was wondering if your Shih Tzu has like a hypo attack sort of thing, like this sudden burst of energy and goes spaz, running around and stuff. My little pup does this about twice a day and has me and my family in histerics. (please excuse spelling errors) Does your Shih Tzu also poke his or her tounge out all the time. Turbo looks like a little cheeky kid sometimes when ho pokes his tounge out. He usually does it when he is naughty and I'm chasing him to get a sock off him. He just thinks everything is a big game. Sorry for typing so much. I was just wondering if those things were Shih Tzu traits or just our dog. Bye

Hi pixiepie, I have one 2 and half year old Border Collie called Jack (male!) He is my soulmate ;) Loud, excitable, affectionate, a bundle of energy and fun...Never knew I could love anyone so much!
I would like more, but now isn't the right time. And he is better suited to being an only dog-"man of the house" although he is friendly enough.
You all sound as if you have a houseful between you!
happy_face, whereabouts in the UK are you? We rent from a Housing Association in Cumbria-Accent Housing Group-and as long as we are clean and quiet, they have no issue with our dog. HAs and councils on the whole are more accepting of pets than private landlords. It is still worth enquiring, and seeing if you can persuade them that your dog won't be a problem. One rental agency told us we could have a house if the dog stayed outside...Yeah right!!!
Good luck in your search.
Lisa.
