Odd behaviour

My scottie is 8 months old and Im not sure if this is coincidental or not but he went to the groomers a couple of weeks ago, since his return he keeps 'fly catching' but there is nothing there. He is doing this constantly. He has also started to hide in any nook he can find. He never was like this before.
