my cat is very loving, but she seems to go to my husband more than me. we both play with her, and feed her etc. but she licks his arms, and she never does that to me. or she'll just sit in front of him, watching him... but not with me! does she like my husband more do you think?

female!! sorry, female...
Sounds like it! It looks like she has just picked her favourite out of the two of you.

My cat is the opposite, he hates men. If one comes in the house he doesn't know, he usually shoots upstairs and hides under the bed! Even men he does know he steers well clear of.
I've just moved in with my boyfriend & brought my 2 cats with me - one male (Cyril,13) & one female (Pepper,12). They have both lived with me since being youngsters, but since moving they show more affection to my partner & he used to say he hated cats!!
I think they associate me with pill taking, flea treatments, brushing & taking them to the vets!!
This is it with cats, they like some people more than others.Ive two cats one prefers my husband and the other prefers me, we have done nothing any different to either of the cats but they have their favourites [its a cat thing]
One of my cats, Daisy, is an absolute tart! She loves men and the moment any men come into the house she's all over them. She loves me too I think but will cheerfully abandon me if one of my son's friends comes to the house.
does it work the other way around ??? do male cats prefer their female owners??
