Someone I know is thinking of getting 2 Maine **** cats, but they will probably have to be house cats as they live in central London. Has anyone any experience of these, would they make good house cats ?

He will still need all his injections ect for all he does not go out pedigrees are soon to catch things as you will know.good luck to your pal he/she will not regret it.
Our nextdoor neighbour has two and they are very affectionate and behave more like a dog and follow you around. They don't like to go out very much and their miaow is different to an ordinary cat. They do need grooming a lot as their fur gets matted. If I was to have one myself that's the one I would definitely get.
