please can someone tell me the average yearly cost to keep a maltese poodle or other such similar small (toy) dog??? please asap! thanks!

depending on what you feed your dog will depend on the cost work on about 50 pence a day which works out at 182.50 a year add on the annual jabs which work out at about 40 pounds. you will also need to factor in worming and flea treatments anything from 20 to 50 pounds a year depending on what you use. Toys add another 30-40. you will also need to factor in any kennal costs or unexpected illness which would mean a trip to the vets. but an average yearly cost would be in the reigion of 300 pounds. which is very cheap considering what any dog gives back to its owner
