Hi, any rabbit experts out there?! I have two female rabbits kept together so don't know if it's both or just one of them that has suddenly started drinking loads and loads of water and peeing loads too. They are eating fine and running about etc. Any ideas?

Not an expert, but I had this situation with my rabbits once and it was some infection. Mine needed an injection. Of course it might be something different, but at this time of year they shouldn't be drinking so much. Take them to the vet to be sure!
could be diabetic or hav ekidey failure?! get it to the vet to sort asap

Thanks you two - strange, but the bottle hasn't gone down half as quick over the last couple of days. I'll keep my eye on them (do anyway). I did have one thought, the bottle is actually attached to a run (they're out all the time unless it's really cold) not the hutch. We have mice etc around, am I being over the top by thinking something else could be drinking the water?!?!
Unlikely, I had a field mouse sharing the bottle with mine. Sometimes the screw on cap doesn't always go on properly and might have leaked?
Good for you that they're out all the time. I hate it when people buy rabbits and then condemn them to a life in the hutch!
