When its cold he nudges his little nose at the quilt and either me or Mr Poison lifts the cover and lets him in!

btw I don't care for those who will rattle on about how unhygenic this is!

Does anyone else's pets sleep in their owners beds?

I have the same. My dogs have always come to bed with me and slept on the bed. During a particularly cold snap a few years ago, they crept under the duvet. That's now the first place they go, but I have to drag one out after a while as he gets too hot and pants too much. It might be unhygenic but I don't care either.
I won't allow the dogs in the bedroom, but I usually end up sharing the bed with 3 of my 5 cats!! Cleo sleeps on top of the duvet, at my feet, Cassie sleeps on my left side (on top of the covers, again) and little Monty actually gets into bed with me, snuggles up with his head on my shoulder and stays there all night. Mad? Totally!!! K x
Six out of seven slept in or on the bed, but since I lost the oldest at Christmas, and another has gone to live abroad, I'm down to four in the bed. Great on cold nights, and they don't pinch the duvet.
My cat often gets into bed with me, I lift the duvet when I feel him nudging it, he crawls in then turns round and puts his head on the pillow next to mine! I find it very comforting with his little furry purring bod snuggled up to me, plus he doesn't snore or fidget - unlike hubby!
My cats all sleep in the bed
I think this is disgusting as it could spread diseases. Your pets could catch anything. Is this a form of animal abuse.
My 8month old lhasa apso sleeps on my bed ,I always have done this!
I've slept on the floor before now, just so as not to disturb my sleeping cat on my bed ;-)

At present, I might be called on to work away at short notice, so I haven't got any pets. (I can't trust my neighbours. The only time I asked a neighbour to look after my cat for a few days, I came home to find one very hungry cat. I know that the neighbour couldn't really help dropping dead a few hours after I went away but it still makes me very wary of trusting others!).

However, that doesn't mean that I might not have some company on the bed tonight. The people two doors down the road don't have a cat flap. My house does so, if it's cold enough, I expect to find their cat sleeping alongside me again ;-)

My dog is not allowed in my bedroom bless her and she doesn't try to go in there . I am allergic to her really so have to be careful to have my bedroom free from her hairs. I love her dearly and she is happy downstairs on her blanket on the floor or most of the night sleeping on the lazyboy chair.

One of my 3 cats sleeps with his head on my pillow every night. I love him being there. So what if it is unhygienic, he has been sleeping there for years and I have not caught any nasty diseases from him yet. I love hearing his purr, it soothes me to sleep. I am sure I have read somewhere that a cats purr is very theraputic to people suffering from anxiety and stress. I can believe that.
No, we don't allow pets to sleep in, or on our bed, but I've never heard of it hurting anyone - apart from an elderly relative who once got bitten by fleas which her cat'd picked up!
When I used to house sit one of the houses I went to had two labs and two pretty hefty cats who all used to sleep with me, the problem was I only had a tiny single bed and didn't get one good nights sleep while I was there but you know what, I really missed them all when I went back home!
Well dogs and cats all pile on the bed in our house. All on our bed! The cats are the most annoying as they fidget and go walk about in the night, but the dogs are still and snore peacefully until we wake up.

We haven't caught anything nasty in thirty odd years!

Pickles comes up for a cudle at bedtime but then gets carried down to bed in the kitchen!!
murphy (cat) sleeps wrapped around me most nights, if its cold she gets under the quilt but usually she's on the pillow next to me
My cat kindly allows me to share her double bed...lol
She is so cute though, she HAS to fall asleep with her face against mine, or nuzzled in my neck. After a while, if I'm too fidgety (annoying me!), she will let out a big sigh, stretch, walk all over my head, then retreat under the top duvet, to make a little nest between my legs....lol
my wee dog harvey lies on his own bed for half an hour looking and staring at me on the king size bed. I clean his eyes, teeth and bottom then I allow him on my bed but definitely on top of the duvet.
Yes, only on top of the duvet in my case as well - can't stand the thought of dog and cat hairs actually in the bed.
