my springer is obsessed with chasing leaves

Boo my 9 month old springer is completely obsessed with chasing blowing leaves to the point shes dragged me onto the road to catch them. She knows to stop at roads but when the leaves are blowing its as if she goes off in a world of her own and either goes deaf or just plain forgets everything shes been taught. although its really funny to watch her chasing them and she looks as if shes having a great time its the obsession i dont like. any suggestions.

I have a gorgeous black and white Springer and they're as mad as a box of frogs. For the first 2 years however, he was a complete and utter nightmare. Then, he seemed to grow up almost over night.

Even now (he's nearly 5 now), he's as naughty as a toddler but wouldn't want him any other way.

All i can suggest is that she will probably grow out of it or use a halty to stop her running off when on the lead.
