What breed is IAMS cat?

Has anyone seen the IAMS cat food, (Nature's Wellness) advert, there is a really beautiful cat, which has a pelt almost like a Leopards. Does anyone know what breed it is?

The Bengal cat comes from the Asian Leopard Cat.

I have 4 Bengals they are just the most wonderfull cats!

I have two, both brothers the most friendliest cats you could ever meet smaller than your normal cat expensive but worth it

The Bengal shown on the IAMS advert is a brown spotted bengal. Try the 'Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain, or the 'Bengal Cat Club' or the 'Ocicat & Bengal Cat Club' in your search engine these are the clubs in Britain.
Created in the '60's when it was discovered that the Asian Leopard cat was immune to feline lukemia & experiments were started to see if the gene could be transfered to the domestic cat. However this research became obsolete when an immunisation was developed. An American lady called Jean Mills (Millwood prefix.) took over the cats & went on to develop the breed. Imported into the UK in the '80's. They come in spotted ( rosettes & arrowheads are highly desirable) or marble patterns, brown, snow & silver colour varieties. A wild looking, medium size cat of athletic build. Great climbers, love water, can learn to retrieve & are super with kids.

Sorry Dave I forgot to add, kittens cost �250 to �350 depending on registration, innoculations, bloodlines, etc.
A breeding animal may cost as much as �1000 with fully registered breeding papers. All the breed clubs have rescue facilities & cats are sometimes available for rehoming - they stay playful their whole life! Or breeders sometimes rehome ex-breeders - not all cats love having kittens!

Its a Bengal. I have 2 of these beautiful creatures. They were developed in US from an ordinary cat and the wild Asian Leopard cat in an attempt to gain natural immunity to disease. Because of their closeness to wild cats, they are not suitable for cat beginners and can develop very bad habits. As a breed they are very intelligent and get into all kinds of mischief. Mine have very different characters but both are loving and extemely entertaining.
