Cat advice please

A couple of weeks ago my cat had a torn ligament in her front paw, I took her to the vet and she was in such a state when we got there the vet had to give her injection just to calm her down. She is a house cat but has always been very timid and nervous. It is now been just over 2 weeks, I am sure her paw is getting better as she is not limping like she was. But the problem now is she keeps hiding away behind the settee and her behaviour is really out of character, even my other cat (brother) keeps looking behind the settee to see what she is up to. She is eating and using the letter tray but I really dont want to take her back to the vet causing more distress. Can anyone give me some advice please. Thanks

Yeh, I wouldn't take her back to the vet. She just sounds a bit freaked out. It should pass given time and love. Good luck. :)

Hi Eastender, this is just a cats way of behaving it does not take much for them to have the [ face ] on.She will come round in time when she thinks you have suffered enough lol.g.
