Worming pill for 1 year old dog
I have recently changed from Stronghold to Frontline to provide bug/flea/ tic etc cover for my pup which I get from my vet, however she will need some cover against worms and other internal nasties.
I read a link on here somewhere about the different ones available but can't find it again, so can anyone advise which might suit? Do you need more info about my dog or where she lives etc?
With previous dogs I have always got worm tabs from thre vet but can/should I buy them over the counter in pet shops?
Thanks

You are right that geography plays a part too, here in the South I believe that heart and lungworm are more of a risk than in the north.
I know that people on here have said that their vets rip them off on prices...Ours doesn't, although there is an additional cost on top of what you can get it for online for prescribed items, which seems to me to be reasonable as they are taking a responsibility/liability for prescibing it....If I felt my vet was ripping me off on price then i wouldn't trust them with my animals.
