hi i heard off someone when i was on holiday that potato peelings are good for rabbits. i have never heard of this before and just wondered if anyone else had, and if it was true

i was of the understanding that the starch was quite harmful, almost toxic. I know you cant give potato to guinea pigs. But heh, my rabbit eats the bloody dog food and she ain snuffed it so who knows lol
not good for bunnies at all
I wouldn't give raw potato peelings to any animal (not even my pigs, although lots of people do feed them to pigs). I microwave them and feed them to my chickens - everything gets re-cycled here!! Potatoes are of the same plant family as deadly nightshade (and aubergines!), so I just feel better cooking them first.
