If it jumps up, fold your arms and turn away. Don't look at it or give it any attention until all 4 feet are on the floor. When you come into the house, ignore the puppy for 2 or 3 minutes to give it time to calm down. By ignore, I mean no looking, no talking to, no touching. Pretend it isn't there.
Teach him to sit/lie down on command, and reward with a titbit. If he comes towards you put your hand down towards the floor encouraging him down, give a titbit when he is on the floor and lots of praise. If he jumps up lift your knee just as he leaves the ground, so he bumps into your knee, then turn away from him. Keep trying this and coupled with the rewards for obeying your command to sit or down he should soon begin to realise its more rewarding to do as you say. You can even put him on the lead to do it, and use the lead to draw him down to the ground. Make time to train for this, don't just expect him to learn when you do it every so often. Make it regular and give him some time to play afterwards.
Do as they do on dog borstal. Have a bottle filled with rice and shake it hard in their face and say NO when they jump up. When behaving treat them and say good boy. Also dont encourage to jump up
