I am seriously thinking of giving a home to a cross terrier from the RSPCA that I saw on the Internet in my local area.

I phoned them and they told me he had a food allergy and has to be fed Burgess Well Being pet food, or similar.

Its about 6.00 for 2.1/2 kilos., how many feeds will this give him?

An average amount for a dog weighing about six - seven kilos would be about 200 grams per day, so roughly twelve days.
if you can get bigger bags there will probably be a saving.
I use Burgess and its good stuff.
Make sure that the food allergy will not cause any problems insuring the dog for any ongoing veterinary treatment.

Vet fees can be really expensive and insurance companies will often exclude any pre existing conditions.
Here's the Burgess Supadog feed calculator:

I have 2 dogs and i use dried food and i buy a 15 kilo bag of WAGG from a supermarket this will last them about two and half weeks cost 10

my dogs are about the same size as terriers
I have four Lancashire Heelers and a 15kg bag of Eukanuba lasts them about 7/8 weeks. They weigh between 6 and 8 kgs each.
