Ethel recently asked a question about washing powder at Lidl or Aldi.
I think most of us are dubious of them because of their prices but some of their stuff is very good. My latest 'find' is Opticat Pouch Food for cats. My two are very fussy and tend to favour Whiskas, but get fed up of it now and again so I've tried all the makes in Tesco and Sainsburys. But never have I had such an enthusiastic response from them as I have had with Opticat. They lick their dishes clean and ask for more!! I'm thinking of changing Snowy's name to Oliver.

I once tested the theory that if they were hungry enough they would eat what I put down but the little one point blank refused and went on hunger strike. She's skinny enough as it is so felt too guilty to keep it up!
Given a choice Frankie would eat Roast Beef from the deli in Tesco at every meal. But it is usually Felix that they get - but it would be nice to try something else for when they are being annoying little ba*****s and refusing to eat the Felix.
I shall toddle up to Lidl and maybe Aldi to have a look. Thanks.

HC loved Aldi cat food at first, especially the gravy ones but then he started just licking the gravy off and leaving most of the meat.
I tried him on Asda pouches and he likes them which is great as I can get a load of them on home delivery with biccies, litter etc... to last him a while.
The last shop they sent the Asda foil trays instead and he loves though, gobbles it up and asks for more.
