is it ok to give cats spicy food thay often get a bit of of whatever i have for dinner but if i have somthing a bit spicy even tho thay both sit there waiting for a tit bit i dont give it to them cos im not sure if it would be ok any advice would be welcome...thank you

rule of thumb for feeding pets is - would they get it in the wild - kittens after about eight weeks don't get milk so don't feed it to them and most cats don't have access to the local takeaway. Having said that the (very) odd exception probably won't kill them but won't enhance their wellbeing.
not sure that cats would actually eat spicy food, although mine loves ragu bolognase sauce. The real question would be could you handle what happens at the other end !!
