Surely you have looked into the diet for this bird before abtaining one,why not go to Google and get full information on this bird.

First thing i thought......people should get advice on the BASICS of keeping animals BEFORE they keep them.

Not sure how you got hold of a kestrel without having prior knowledge of how to care for them.

Best thing you could do would be to visit a local wildlife/bird centre, and have a chat with one of the animal care assistants. Caring for a bird of this type is about so much more than knowing what to feed them, you need to talk to an expert.
