Humans cause so many problems for their dogs by treating them as humans.

I once heard someone say "there is no greater insult to a dog than to say he/she is almost human!

A dog doesn't need a birthday cake but I guess it is a bit of harmless fun for the owner.

poodi it's only a dog...........I did get him some santa welly boots but he refuses to wear them......
My last dog was really little and when we went for a walk people used to trip over her, so I put a flashing light on her collar. One drunk who saw her thought she was carrying a torch..........

I don't go gooey over my dogs and I certainly don't think of them as babies but as family members I like to give them things that they enjoy, hence the occasional steak when we are barbecuing and getting up at sparrowf*rt each day to take them to the forest so they can run around like mad things.
