My two year old cat is foaming at the mouth after I have treated her with flea spray, I may have used too much. I immediately bathed her but she is still foaming, she has eaten food and not been sick and has had a small amount of water. What should I do? Should she be distressed further by driving her to the vet?

My cat was allergic to her flea collar and nearly died. It's rare, but don't hesitate, call the vet now.
I cant believe you asked on here before phoning a vet!!!

She has probably ingested some of the flea spray, some are alcohol based. I am hoping you have now been to the vet and she is ok?
