My eldest cat is 15 years old and just recently she has started to wash herself almost continually. I have also noticed this week that when she gets off my bed (or wherever she has been sleeping) tiny bits of black and white grit are on the covers. Any ideas? TIA

I put Frontline on all my cats monthly, all year round. The last pack of 6 pipettes were £16.30 from Pet Drugs Online.
We use Advocate, get it from the vets, seems to do the trick.
I get Frontline too from 'Pet Drugs' online --- But I apply it every 2 months, the vet said it was enough.

Its probably a little late now but I was worried about you applying the Frontline 'Spot On' so shortly after spraying the cat with Bob Martins, its never a good idea to use 2 different products without a reasonable time in between. You know its sometimes a good idea to check things out with your vet or any vet, you can get info from just phoning the receptionist only people have many different ideas of the correct thing to do. It is important to get a house spray as well as treating the cats otherwise you'll never actually get rid of the fleas permanently. Do you have a local PDSA? Ideal if you're on a low income and they have excellent vets. You can register up to 3 pets.
